I see Chelsea are switching to playing all their women's matches at Stamford Bridge next season. Do they own Kingsmeadow and, if so, could they sell it to get around FFP issues?

They could only sell the lease as the freehold is the council.

According to Wiki.

The idea that we take an old dilapidated building, turn it into a gig and events venue (that has never held any gigs) and that it is really worth £55m is absolutely laughable. Let's be honest.

I am glad we are trying it, but fucking hell, 55m?

Maybe. On the other hand this stuff happens all the time with residential property developers. Find shitty old barn; make it safe; get it listed; refurb it to a good standard; make £1m+.
