Surely he's good enough to bring on at half time. He proved that less than 30 hrs ago.

He’s ideal for that super sub role, and I think he’d be delighted to do it. That positive attitude might be crucial when others have the weight of the world in their shoulders.

Tommy Johnson used to be physically sick before a game and I remember a game being held up because he chucked up on the pitch.

I thought that was the 7-1 match when he scored a hat trick.

He barfed on the turf more than once making a mockery of its hallowed status.

Him and Elliot alternating in this role will be important this season. Gives me much more hope than going in with just Emi. Coming on for the last 30 against tiring defences or buzzing around for the first 60 maximises his impact.

Emi was often a good sub for Coutinho, then not so good when starting. But he was good most of the time for Emery in his first half season.

another excellent performance by little Emi and a crucial goal. He's been such an unexpected boost to us this season.

Great story isn't it. We literally have tried to give him away for over 12 months. Utterly outshined likes of Rogers again.

Almost as good as Withey's finish in the same corner...

His price keeps rising by the week. Hopefully by the summer PSG want him and we can swap him for Vitinha and Ramos plus cash.

Fair play to him, I've been very critical of him but he's had a top week just when we needed it. The only problem is that we can get a bit narrow with him on the left but that seems to be a problem pretty much whatever team we put out so lets go with the guy who's showing some form and being a pest (which is what he's always been good for).

I've always liked Emi, but to my mind, he's still not contributing massively in terms of our general team play and cohesion. Even off form, Rogers has the edge in the 10 role (they seem to have a similar (very poor) pass completion rate).

That being said, you can't argue with goals, redemption arcs and all-round good geezers, so very pleased for him to be getting some plaudits!
