I enjoyed that win for a lot of reasons. Chelsea were my ex in-laws team and as such doing them over is satisfying. I don't like that they are one of the 6. I don't like that our record isn't as good as it should be. But I think what I really enjoyed was that we just looked good against them, that and that our fans were back at Villa Park.

You have no choice, referees consistently show that they won't give decisions otherwise. Look at how many Man U get when it isn't a foul. I'm certainly not going to castigate a player for making sure a referee correctly sent off an opponent.

The one they got against Wolves yesterday as an absolute joke. No contact at all. Football would be a better place if they didn’t exist.

VAR does show a kick on the standing foot by the Wolves Defender. I think it was the fact he went down 2 seconds later when he had lost it which makes people think there wasn't contact. It was more of a Pen then most they got this season. Still don't think we would have got it if it had been for us though.

Lovely to see a set piece plan.

What was Tuchel complaining about post game? Definite pen and definite red.

The Mings handball I suspect...thought they had a case there alright (based on decisions given earlier in the season).

Our peno was soft but Jorginho didn't complain much. I wasn't too impressed by Grealish's antics to get their player sent off. Yes he got a bit of a swipe but if one of our players were sent off in those circumstances there would be a meltdown on here. Don't think it will do Grealish many favours with refs next season either.

Tuchel is a bit strange. The bizarre loyalty to the frankly hopeless Werner and not giving Tammy a kick for one. I fail to see the logic of his recent swapping of James and Azpilicueta either.

Tuchel came across as very tutonic, through gritted teeth. It was like he was talking about the failed defence of the Reichstag in 1945 rather than a game of football. Everything went against him, his team failed him etc.

If he'd had Klopp's teeth he may have pulled it off!

Grealish was hit in the face, and he made sure it was seen, if not by the ref, then by VAR. He made them have to look at it. It was their player's stupidity in doing what he did that was the issue.

Mings didn't handball it, the ball hit his arm that was by his side.

Our pen was exactly that, Jorghino made contact twice with Traore. He didn't protest much either, definitely a penalty and whilst you'd be disappointed to have it given against you, you'd have to accept it.

As for the ice-cream delay, I'm over the moon that they felt they had to complain and get the start of the match delayed, football pettiness at it's finest.

Was anyone even disputing our penalty? It was about as blatant as you can get, I didn't even expect VAR to shaft us, it was that certain.

What's this ice cream business?

Chelsea couldn't get in the ground, our head of security told them they'd have to wait as our stewards were having an ice-cream.

The whining comes from the sense of entitlement that always getting the benefit of the doubt gives you.

Gamesmanship? Cuteness? Clever? Call it what you want, but we need a bit more of this about us. Well done Jack. It happens to us too often to even think about. Fouls to break up early attacks, kicking the ball away just far enough to delay a quick free-kick, going down at the slightest of touches.

We have to play the game!

What a great story. Not the Sundae Chelsea were hoping for. Wankers
