I am lucky enough to be going today, and fully intend to enjoy every minute of the last game of the season without any of the stress of last year. Wish everyone could be there though.
Hope you have a great day. Give the boys a good cheer for all of us. If you don't go home with sore throat you haven't done your job properly  ;)
2-2

Villa shock Chelsea by going 2-0 up in 40 minutes sending Tuchel into a rage. We weather the storm and hold out for a 2-1 win....Then I wake up.

0-1, six penalties turned down by VAR.

Sounds about right.

I will be relaxing watching the Villa game on SKY on the telly and at the same time keeping an eye on the Wolves game on BT on the laptop. I will also be far more chilled out than I was on the last day last season when I was flicking between the Watford and Bournemouth games as well as looking out for the Villa game.
Everyone will be more chilled I should think!  :D :D :D

To anyone going: have a great time and stay safe! X

BTW 2-1 us. Ollie & Jack to score.

There's a suggestion of Konsa starting at RB, which would be interesting.  I think it's time to wave goodbye to Elmo anyway.  Be great to have a good win to round the season off.   2-0 would be amazing, Watkins for both please.

There’s a bloke on Twitter called Ben Cash who has a terminal diagnosis and knows it’ll be his last visit to Villa Park. This feels really sad and puts my own disappointment at not getting a ticket in perspective. I am certainly glad that he did. Some people have said they will try to get a chant of ‘There’s only one Ben Cash’ going.

Also, there are a few that seem to think booing the taking of the knee will be appropriate and it has been suggested that if this is happened that it’s drowned out with chants of Justice for Dalian! Justice for Dalian and the taking of the knee might be good either way!

This will be our 1000th game in the Premier League and (obviously) the 500th at Villa Park.

1000 is not divisible by 38 so how do you work that one out?

Because there haven’t always been 20 teams in the Premier League.

Has booing taking the knee happened? I shouldn't be surprised but what's the flimsy justification given for booing it?

I have 2 tickets for this afternoon only for the wife to receive a call this morning saying her father is in Bristol Royal Infirmary and not going to last long. So now sat in Costa at the hospital whilst she visits / says her goodbye.

To you jammy gits.

No booing of any kind please. Lets show our first year players, just what a special place VP is with fans making noise.

So which Villa team will we see, hopefully not the one in the 2nd half at Palace, but hopefully the one, that totally outplayed Spurs. If it is the latter, I'm fairly confident of a victory, Ollie to get the winner. Possible good news re Chelsea team, Kante is doubtful, he's their star player and one of the best players in the Prem.
