I hadn’t realised Kevin Friend is on VAR. That explains all we need to know.

I commented that Grealish looked off the pace in the last game, but today he looks like hes never been away.

He's still not getting away from players like he would usually but his weight of pass, his positioning to receive the ball, his movement....its on another level. Making a mug out of Winks and Hojberg...he makes every other player 20% better instantly....might tire a bit after another 15mins or so

I still can't get over that penalty decision.

Was that early in the game, or did I blink and miss it?

Great great half.
We will finish above them next season if they lose Kane.
Only hope DS reacts in time though if they bring on likes of Ndombele or Lucas Moura though as can't believe how easy it's been for us to play through them centrally.
Bertrand Traore would be world class if he just learnt you don't need to take 30 touches on the ball before making a decision sometimes!!
I think soon into the 2nd half we need to tighten the MF by bringing off a wide players and bringing in an extra midfielder...
...and don't wait till we concede!

I'd love us to bring on Wesley and Chuk for the 2 wingers with about half an hour to go and give Jack a completely free role for a little while.

I hope Spurs give Ryan Mason the job full time, he's doing a great job.

They will surely put Moura on early in number 10 position. Thought he was their MOTM at VP and he's miles above this version of Dele Alli who looks as finished as Barkley does.

And Ndomble gives them more strength than Winks so DS needs to be alert and be prepared for those changes rather than having a 10 minute chat with Terry and Cutler while we lose momentum in second half.

So what's the spread on the Spurs equaliser and winner? I'll go for 2-2 on 48' and 3-2 on 53'.

Is Kevin Friend in the VAR box?

you think If we got a top DM in and a top winger upgrading on Nakamba and Anwar how good we could be :)
Think the way he's played 1st half, apart from losing possession in the run up to their goal, Nakamba had a good half with McGinn running the midfield. Think he's a squad player for next year.

Just keep it up now Villa

The own goal was the 1,000 in premier league history apparently.

It was certainly worthy of the occasion.

Son wasn't involved at all in the first half, Konsa completely nullified him so they've moved him central, we need to watch out for that.
