They're fine with a light blue or white away shirt. With a claret home shirt? Absolutely not.

We are generally shit in claret shorts. They remind me of Blackburn away with Pires doing what he laughably called running.

I didn’t like the Luke kit either

The Luke away kit belongs in the Louvre.

The home one belonged in the toilet.

If they could match the clarets up between the shirts and shorts I would be happy

I disagree, I quite like it, and I think SGT would have agreed. When we got promoted in '88, we had the same kit but we changed from white shorts and socks to claret shorts and blue socks. White socks have absolutely no place on a Villa home kit, and were probably responsible for our piss poor home form that season.

Our kits should be:

Home - claret shirt with blue sleeves, white shorts, blue socks

Away - white shirt with claret trim, claret shorts, blue socks

Just my opinion.

I took advantage of the reduction in price and bought the home kit.

Good on you, Darren. Full kit, or just the shirt?

I tried to buy the third shirt the other week as I quite like it. But while I had it in my basket I was told I was ruining Christmas and had to take it out.

I miss long sleeve versions. Never wore them, but I think they look good on ours when we play.
