Not really sure who else should be starting. I mean Nakamba stays in and it's a pretty negative midfield selection.

Easy - Ramsey.

I suppose it means McGinn will be stifled and asked to play more defensive again, instead of his better, more advanced role.

I guess so ... otherwise, we'll either win 6-0 or lose by the same!!

Exactly. We saw a glimpse of the McGinn of old with the shackles off... Why change it when it was starting to work, and his form was improving as a result?

I haven't seen Sammy Lee knocking around the dugout lately. Has 'Big Sam' eaten 'Little Sam'?

That line up is a great insight into our total lack of depth - to be understood, but we've got a lot of spending to do in the summer.

Well, if Barkley doesn't shine today against a Championship bound West Brom then he never will.

I remember Stephen Ireland had his best ever performance for us against Hereford in a league cup game. Maybe this is going to be Barkleys Hereford moment ?

Mid table, season is over and still he plays a team full of players out of form. Why isn’t he playing Ramsey etc - Christ he’s more stubborn than some of the other stubborn managers we’ve had. I’m at a loss to explain what he’s thinking

Barkley to play a blinder and score one of our 3 goals today.

Somebody had to take on the case for the defendant. He’s got talent. He needs to believe and show it. He will today.

Barkley is not going to be here next season. There is no point playing him.

Worry not. He's safely in the back of the jag with his trousers off.
