Who is the commentator on Sky? He seems to have had an endless stream of negative stats about us tonight.

Andy Hinchcliffe (born Manchester, 100+ games for Man City)

Not sure who the “main” commentator is. Some sky rent a gob.

Equally bad on Radio 5 - Michael Brown - ex City.

Michael Brown's opinion of the Stones sending off

VAR see the contact on the slow motion - John Stones comes across and hesitates and then goes to play the ball. Yes, he catches him it's a yellow it's not one where he's below the knee and the leg's planted where you can seriously injure someone, it's really high. The referees need to understand the difference in contact, at this point the referees don't understand that.

For that he’d have to touch the ball!

It's sadly not just the quality that's missing our workrate is way behind City's.  Davis quiting on that ball then another example and everything Ross Barkley has done since he came on

I disagree, I think we've worked rally hard, the problem is that when you defend for long periods it's a lot more tiring (mentally as much as physically) and it's taken it out of us. In the first half of the season we worked as hard as anyone. We need more of the ball, the passing is comfortably the biggest weakness for us in the last few months.

Easiest 2-1 win City will have all season. Sounds close but, we haven’t really laid a glove on them. If it hadn’t been Villa playing, I’d have switched this off long ago.

A significant improvement on last season at least.

Michael Brown (if I'm thinking of the right guy) was a complete thug on the pitch

Well I must be watching a different game. We've worked really hard?

Well, maybe the first half a dozen games.

Outclassed, passing not good enough at all and you end up getting more ragged as you tire.

Oh well. Best side in Europe and half of my least favourite fixture of the season.
