He wins the ball, but Watkins is there first. It was a foul on McGinn too.

No, he was relying on his arse as usual.

He rolls him, its a foul the referee has given 3 or 4 times already in the game.

McGinn in the advanced midfield role is a positive change, but Nakamba should be behind him, not Sanson. If Sanson hadn't taken a knock, I'd do Nakamba <-> El Ghazi and put Sanson on the left.

But another idea would be Sanson <-> Davis. Go 442 and give Davis 45. Why not? The first half was no better than any of the last 7 games and the second half is not likely to be any better if we stay the same, with a scrappy goal for Fulham probably giving them the win.

Is that a proposition Joe?

Extremely disappointing how dismally this season has fizzled out, with Smith doing nothing about it.
it’s like 4 3 3 has been stamped indelibly on his brain. Wait for the 65 th minute substitution

Absolutely with you on this. Dean has got to try to generate some sort of spark. Not Trezeguet for Traore 65 minutes then Davis for El Ghazi 85.

Decent shift from SJM about sums up the midfield and attack , the are some pretty woeful displays out there. Luis sideways freekick, Ghazi can not beat the wall Sansom back from a visit to Delilah and Trarore is he still on the pitch ?
Change the format Dean
I think its a good job the stadium is empty.

I agree, Smith has been very patient with thus syetm.and El Ghazi/Traore. Its just not happened post return. Getting somebody closer to Watkins is worth a go.

Barkely and Davis on, wingers off.

No pen- correct decision.

Nice to see McGinn further forward.
Agree Nakamba would then , actually always, be the better choice.

It takes Smith a bit longer than most, but he’ll get there.. he seems to have cottoned on to the Mcginn bit

At least with the penalty not being given we won’t have to watch El Ghazi strutting around and hitting 40 yarders because all of a sudden he’s Ronaldo after (maybe) scoring a penalty after doing fuck all for the rest of the game.

Yep. Looking forward to the Trez for El Ghazi/Traore sub. No doubt it will galvanise us the same way it has on all the other occasions this season.

The only positive I can take from today is that I'm not there so don't have to battle to get the train home after the game
