Forty-five minutes of total gash, punctuated with occasional moments of downright bollocks.

50/50 decision tbh, crap end to a crap half. Will we see any changes at beginning of second half? 🤔

Poor half, the midfield offer very little. Very little movement off the ball and the only threat is set pieces and those have been poor.

He’s had no plan B, or even a glimmer of a plan B since he came in. With Jack, we’re not bad. Without him, it shows Dean’s tactical nous out for what it is.... garbage!
I love him as a bloke, and the whole Villa link is great and everything, but if we’re being honest with ourselves, he’s never gonna cut it for the level we could reach with this squad and backing. Just a question of how long the owners are going to put up with it..... and/or the fans
very much this......it's frustrating to say the least ....from top 10 aspirations to hopefully finishing above 15/16th.......typical Villa

Agree with you, Nii.

I'm pleased we haven't conceded because we all know how that pans out.

Any chance El Ghazi could impose himself on the game? If the ball isn't coming to your wing, fcuking demand it.

He is just.. insipid. Doesn't assert himself. No aggression. No dynamism.

It's simple, if it involves a potential goal for Villa, the Immanuel in Stockley Park needs every available angle to find something.

Had trouble getting the stream up so only been watching from about 20th minute.....45th minute was genuinely the first time I heard AEG's name mentioned! For one of the three in the attack, that simply isn't good enough. At least for all his flaws Traore wants to get on the ball constantly and make things happen, El Ghazi is simply hiding out there.

Same old same old really, we're trying but there's a complete lack of confidence in final third and players simply don't believe they can do stuff like scoring a goal without Jack out there so a pretty depressing sight.

Shame given I've enjoyed most of this season but it really does have a feeling now of I wouldn't care less if this was our final game, all petered out too easily once again.

Watkins got to the ball first based on the angle they didn’t show to the ref. But the Fulham player then gets the ball cleanly. No idea why they had to get the ref to look at a monitor.

Extremely disappointing how dismally this season has fizzled out, with Smith doing nothing about it.

McGinn in the advanced midfield role is a positive change, but Nakamba should be behind him, not Sanson. If Sanson hadn't taken a knock, I'd do Nakamba <-> El Ghazi and put Sanson on the left.

But another idea would be Sanson <-> Davis. Go 442 and give Davis 45. Why not? The first half was no better than any of the last 7 games and the second half is not likely to be any better if we stay the same, with a scrappy goal for Fulham probably giving them the win.

He wins the ball, but Watkins is there first. It was a foul on McGinn too.

No, he was relying on his arse as usual.

Luiz is going to get sent off here.

Looks a nigh on certainty. Back four have done well, McGinn started very well. The rest, including Martinez, have been rubbish. Nakamba will surely come on at the break and I'd try Davis for El Ghazi too, shift Watkins to the left.
