Deano said in his pre match interview with SKY that Jack had trained for ten minutes in the week and pulled up in discomfort so was not being risked today.

Meatball?!?

SJM

His nickname at Scotland. Far more creative than the woeful "Ginny".

Agreed and a lot safer to use when discussing him in an Italian-American restaurant.

Dean Smith on the absence of Jack Grealish today "He's trained this week and was looking good, but had some discomfort yesterday, so pulled out after 10 minutes in training, so we're on the side of caution as we must do with these injuries.” #avfc

These injuries...

Jack's been out for so long we're bound to have a contingency plan for this.

Just seen Smith’s prematch interview.... not sure he’s been watching the same games as us?!
On thin ice for me now- Getting a performance out of a squad of players that cost the same amount as the national debt of a small country, should NOT hinge on the availability of one player, no matter how good he is.
Same dysfunctional formation and lineup.. when will he realise it’s not working!?
And yes, I REALLY hope this post comes back to bite me in the ass at FT 😉

Whatever jack’s injury.. if we can’t wallop Fulham, serious questions need to be asked.

Dean answering questions with, "Yes, no..."

Which he’s done since his first press conference since arriving to be fair.

I don’t think anyone has been walloping Fulham recently have they? Still, I agree that we need to prove that we can win without Jack. We haven’t managed to do so in the last few games.
