Traore either looks great or like a total pub player. It's mostly been the latter this evening.

We should be winning by a couple.

Delivery into the box hasn't been great, Targett still hung over from Wednesday. But I feel McGinn pressing higher up is working and Sanson looks tidy and energetic.

These haven't troubled us at all defensively.

Watkins has been completely magnificent

He is marvellous, literally.

We’ve played nicely just need to be more incisive. I like the balance in midfield.

The better team by a good distance.  Should be a couple of goals up really.

Great to listen to opposition commentary for the second week running, ffs.

Absolutely.
Did Goodman play for Wolves once by any chance e??

Villa in control
working really hard. 2 or 3 men buzzing around when ever they have ball.

really nice build up from the back beating their press and resulting in watkins shot
McGinn Sansom, good halfs
really pleased so far,

Think it’s been good, it’s just not falling for us in the box and we’ve hit the bar twice. Best progressive performance in weeks as opposed to having to be defensive. Sanson looks good, Traore (ours) unpredictable as ever.

Frustrating half. Slightly the better side, but 2 great chances not taken. I expect Wolves will be better 2nd half.

Ha, have some of that! Majestic from Mings.

Imperial, surely?

Merciless.

We have been the better side in the first half.

Watkins, Elmo and McGinn have been our players. Centre backs not had too much to do.

We should be ahead. Decent game for a 0-0, though my worry levels increase hugely when Ollie Watkins is slow to get up and looks hurt.

Another half where we should score but don’t, we are impotent in the penalty area.
Watkins puts himself about but who is going to score?

Hopefully we can score in the second half a bit more luck and we would have scored a couple instead of hitting the woodwork.
