These won't be able to double up on Jack now. They're fucked. Come on you Villa boys!

I'm starting to get the feeling that Barkley has been promised that he plays if he isn't injured. His recent form hasn't justified his selection today.

I might open a bottle of wine to take the edge off.

Good idea I might follow
I would as well but we’ve given up drinking at home which was not the best decision with pubs being closed.
Just give up making rash decisions. Sorted. ;-)

I'd love to know what's going on with him. First we had his never ending injury, which as usual we were given fuck all details about. Now we have him hopping from the subs bench to sitting at home on alternate weekends.

Just sell him for fucks sake.

I'd have started Sanson and Trezeguet. I'd happily take a point now but fear the worst. Surprise me Villa and make Dave P's birthday a happy one.

Don't know how many more crap games Barkley has to have before he's dropped, great to see Chukwuemeka on the bench.

What a dog’s arse of a team.

Look on the bright side, if we get a player sent off the game is abandoned as we're starting with 9 men.

Hopefully he comes on.  And if he gets knocked down he gets back up again.

I would have had Trez on the right to offer cover for Elmo and have Sanson in the middle instead of Barkley as one of two 8's, with McGinn, so that we could compete physically.

It's a brave selection and one I think will see us getting dominated.

4-1 Leicester

I’m not going to be all doom and gloom if we lose, if we lose then we’ve lost  to a decent side. I watched Leicester vs Wolves the other week and they were quite average. We are still having a decent season and no one would have predicted our current position and points haul way back when we kicked off the season vs Sheffield United. We aren’t the soft touch we were last season and we will still have 15-16 games left after today.

Hard to be positive with that line up.
Afraid We can only afford one of Barkley and Traore.

Agreed on that, I've no problem with AEG coming in for Jack on the left but no way should both Traore and Barkley be selected against a team with the counter attacking power of Leicester.

We will get ripped to shreds with such an open team unless we can bang in a few early goals.
