Disappointed that Samson isn’t starting.

Time to stand up and be counted.

I'm worried by AEG starting, doesn't deserve it based on recent performances. Why not give Sanson a start?

He had a fantastic December and was dropped as soon as St Ross came back. Since then, one disappointing half against West Ham when the whole team played poor yet El Ghazi was the one hooked at half time. There's far less-deserving of a start in our team than him.

Lunacy to start RB and Traore ahead of Sanson and Jacob.

He just handed the midfield to LC. Horrible decision

We are going to get murdered on the break.

We need the ball for that to happen.

Going to be a long 90 minutes I suspect. Huge amount of work for Doug and SJM to get through and also make sure we get enough of the ball to the 3 behind Ollie.

Perhaps Bert and Barkley will drop deep aswell and we'll have just AEG up with the striker but I'm not sure and Elmohamady won't half be exposed in this formation which is another headache.

Barnes v Elmo with no discernible tracker on the field.

I might open a bottle of wine to take the edge off.

Good idea I might follow
I would as well but we’ve given up drinking at home which was not the best decision with pubs being closed.

Think AEG just had a purple patch of form, he was as poor as the rest v West Ham.

Still he'll be on the penalty if we get one first half.

I’m not sure Barkley is undroppable, but once Grealish was injured, there was no way Smith was taking Traore or Barkley out of the team. I’m only surprised El Ghazi is in instead of Trez. Elmo really won’t have much protection from Traore. Let’s hope that we have the Xmas time El Ghazi rather than the bizarre first half against West Ham.

In desperate hope of coming back here in a couple of hours and looking like a pessimistic fool.... We are going to get absolutely walloped with that line up.

Got a real bad feeling about this game today..I felt nervous before with the hope that Jack would be fit. Without him I think we’re gonna struggle against this Leicester side.
I’m another who is disappointed that Sanson hasn’t got the nod over Barkley, something strange going on there. Anyway, let’s hope I’m wrong about being nervy.
