Get Nakamba on asap. I haven't seen Luiz have a good game in months.

That’s a huge overreaction - but he has been poor in his last couple of games.

I know it's a cliché, but Luiz's form does seem to go up and down with the air temperature. He's much better in the warmer months it seems.

Well let us see what happens with substitutions if we continue in the same vein

They are in our faces as soon as we get the ball while we stand off when they have it.

Brighton are a good side and you have to earn the right to win. We’ve turned up looking like we’ll walk it.

I don't think it's that, I think we didn't expect them to be so physical. West Ham did it and teams seem to have decided it's the way to go.

Barkley seriously needs to be hooked. He's doing my head in.

Judging from the comments on here I am a bigger fan of Barkley than most. But tonight he just hasn't turned up.

Jack isn’t being allowed to get into any dangerous areas. He’s being squeezed wide and not being give time to settle or find space. In truth he’s been ineffective.

Aside from the couple of winners he's scored, that's basically the description of his Villa career thus far.

Only turned this on at half time, but we look OK from what I've seen.
