Marv in for Doug. There was a different vibe to the press conference yesterday. Like some words had been said. I expect we will see a much better performance.

Yeah pleased with that provided McGinn and Barkley are both on it.

Need a game from Barkley, fortunate to be in for me.

I almost called it. I just had Trez in for Traore.

Like all the others, Luiz was bad on Wednesday, but I'm not sure that's the right decision. McGinn looks like he's running on fumes.

I forgot Traore back in for AEG

Arsenal:Ryan, Bellerin, Gabriel, Holding, Cedric, Partey, Xhaka, Pepe, Smith Rowe, Saka, Lacazette

Aubameyang on the bench

Glad that Nakamba is in. He deserves to be back.

A bit worried otherwise about our midfield. Traore and Barclay in particular need to remember their defensive duties.

As has been said Barkley is a tad fortunate to keep his place.

Wouldn't have been surprised if it was McGinn that was dropped, anyway hope we put in a better performance than Wednesdays effort.

Well the majority of that team owes us, themselves and the manager a performance.
Get back in the groove and 2nd half of the season all to play for. Struggle and lose again and it will peter out and all the good work will be wasted

Come on villa

Barkley is a very lucky lad to be honest, he was dire on Wednesday. I'd have played Trez with Jack at number 10, but let's see how Ross does I suppose.

I struggle with Barkley and Traore starting.
Not confident.

Would feel a lot safer with Luiz in but maybe he's carrying a knock or they have stats showing lowered energy or what have you.

Desperate for something here!

Assume it's Nakamba and McGinn sitting in the usual 4231 formation. Smith is tolerating a lot from Barkley, needs a big performance from him. Luiz can have no complaints.
