It was just so easy for them tonight, they didn't have to break sweat at any point in the match.
I know what you mean, but actually West Ham won because of the great effort and sweat they put in.

They harried us in twos and threes with lots of energy and closed us down in midfield and in defence. The contrast when they had the ball was marked. We looked as if we had no drive or energy.

Just as we outplayed them in November, they did the same on us but with the result as well.

We are a work in progress, there will be ups and downs. Let’s not judge them too harshly.

Also notable we've lost as many at home as away and by bigger margins.  We push forward more at home and are vulnerable to teams that break quickly.  Leeds, Southampton, Spam and Brighton did us on breakaways and in most cases the the scorer had acres of room.

I'm not exactly sure what changes I'd make but dropping Martinez isn't one if them. That would just be very silly.

I'm putting it down to people finishing dry January in a big way.

Unpopular opinion I know I've felt for a while that Martinez isn't that great a shot stopper especially if it's put in the corners or down low.   Brilliant on crosses and commanding the box and defence but there's been a few I thought other keepers would have got to.

Isn’t it so very convenient that tonight becomes the night you air that when Saturday he was absolutely brilliant. How odd

If you say so.  You didn;t see the error he made on Saturday then?  How odd.

Do you do anything else other than have a go at other fans?

Are we seriously having this conversation. He’s been one of our best players and kept us in the game on Saturday.

I dont think we are turning on the team after one bad half. I think we can all see that the players are just knackered after 5 games in 14 days. The last 3 games we have been poor and that's not because the players are crap, just tired. This is what the squad is for not just injuries and suspensions. To prevent this kind of performance from happening too often.

Yeah, he could have had a go at the players too.

Martinez has been great for us. Tonight wasn't his greatest night but he will save us more points this season for sure.

I'm expressing an opinion, you happen to disagree. I'm sure you'll get over it with a bit of therapy.

Note that the BT commentators are being far less harsh, half time they reckon we shaded it and full time that it could have gone either way.

Not the way I saw it but there you go.
