How can Grealish being our best player be a worry?

We are becoming increasingly reliant on him again. For counter attacks, for creating chances , for even keeping the ball.

Where was John Terry today? Didn’t see him all game.
He was subbed off at half-time

Smash and grab but with the best move of the game.  Even their Manager said he accepts the offside, it is what it is and was called by the Lino as well.  The penalty decision makes up for the Man City penalty but the rules is the rules. It just goes to show you that you don't always get what you deserve but for all Southampton's ball retention, they failed to score, so fuck em!  We didn't play that well but won.  Get in there!!!

I totally understand Southampton being pissed off but both decisions were just about right under the current interpretation even though I don't agree with that interpretation. Swings and roundabouts as they say. Big credit to the team today as they looked like Wednesday's kick in the nuts had dented their confidence after all. Our goal was sublime and proved that the combination play between Jack & Ross is as good as anything in the league. Martinez was superb. Not at our silky best but just about done enough against a very good Southampton team. I predict a win against West Ham where we avenge a travesty of a result at their place with some scintillating football.

I really disagree with you.  We have plenty of players who we now rely on.  Lots of attacking intent from all over the pitch.  He is our best player that is agreed but we have others to cause the opposition problems these days.

God forbid we should have a player who's so much better than anyone else in the league.
