Which is completely at odds with what has been quoted on this thread concerning different players in different stages of recovery.

To be fair, Dean said that in his interview.

It is pissing it down in the North West. Going to be a soggy lunch time stroll.

Weather reports now saying it will be torrential at kick off, contrary to previous forecasts.

A cold, wet and windy Manchester on a Tuesday night. What players would you say are better suited to the conditions?

Manchester City - De Bruyne, Sterling, Stones, Walker.
Subs - Steffen, Ake, Zinchenko, Foden.

Aston Villa - Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett, McGinn, Grealish, Barkley, Watkins.
Subs - Heaton, Hause, Davis, Ramsey.

1 - 2

Rain update. Its really, really coming down now.

We played them in rain 6 or 7 years ago and it was horrendous. This is miles heavier.

After all the other postponements we've had might we have waterlogged pitch now?

As another North West Resident I'm struggling to understand why the expressions "Manchester" and "cold, wet and windy" are causing surprise?

I never fancy us against this lot ,even before they came into all this money we had a awful record against them .I have just discovered who the referee is tonight and we have no chance That idiot Johnathan Moss is the referee. This bloke along with Kevin Friend seems to dislike the Villa and either gives us nothing or as like against Arsenal last season just to name one  instance seems to favour the other team
