Amazing. not just the result but the way they are playing. seems to be some of the same system as the senoirs. Should be prepared for letting in goals secons half though, they probl get tired before the seniors. and mark delaney still looks like mark delaney. that was fun to watch that first half.

I see Liverpool are still playing the high line. When will they learn?

Post update
Aston Villa 1-1 Liverpool
Liverpool have had 83% of the ball and 14 shots to Villa's 17% and two.

It's 421 passes to 85.

Sadio Mane has had 25 touches, the fewest of any Liverpool outfield player. No Villa player has had more than that.

Have a feeling g Liverpool.may be more ruthless 2nd half. Whatever happens, kids have done great

More ruthless?

Mate, they are charging forward every chance they can and nicking the ball off of teenagers at every opportunity. Minamino, Milner and Henderson look horrible out there - huffing and puffing!

The neighbours knew exactly when we’d scored. What a finish!

Couldn’t be prouder of these boys. They’ll never forget this.

Love how Barrie gives their defender a little nudge as well.  He's from Sutton as well, good lad.

Someone on SHA has just said he’s done with football forever !

Had a quick half time look and to be fair they are actually praising our kids and saying the kids  would beat their first team. Not used to praise from Small Heath.

Totally proud of these lads and how they’re performing for the Villa.

Big shout out to Mark Delaney too. Liked him as a player and he’s doing well with these kids.
