no we didn't, had a full  reserve team and Liverpool could have selected 5 or 6 1st team squad players but chose to take them to Dubai and not play. We did not have the option of playing any of 1st

I really don't think Klopp has done much wrong here. We literally did the same last year.

We didn't, we changed pretty much the entire team.

But the main difference for me is that we haven't spent the last three years moaning about each cup competition and the size of the league should all be adjusted for our benefit, then spent the last month bemoaning the number of subs allowed because the players are so delicate.

He's a massive hypocritical arsehole. Be delighted if someone asks him why he played Mane and Salah against a bunch of GCSE students next time he moans about fixture congestion. You can bet they won't.

I love to be a post match interviewer they never ask any taxing questions .It often feels similar to when stars are interviewed and they only have a list of pre-approved questions they are want to answer.

Watching it back I don't see what was wrong with what Klopp said either, it's almost exactly what I posted above, regardless of the result his team don't get much credit and by the time they knew we were fielding a weak team they'd have very few training sessions to organise a new team.


I don't really care what Klopp has said in the past, he picked a team to compete with our first team and when we couldn't play them he decided not to make a short notice change.


Anyway 5-6 of our youngsters look decent here, feel for Barry who looks totally isolated. Hayden on the right has been our best player in the first quarter in my opinion.
