Traore is a load of shit too. Two dreadful free kicks in a row.

He’s a 30:10:60 player. The 30 can be spectacular it’s just not often enough. The 10 is when he’s just doing what’s expected. The 60 happens most of the time and it’s really awful
Yes..or he's the sort of player who will play well for two or three games, but not be able to keep it going. There seems to be little middle ground as when he's poor, he looks terrible.

Disappointing. Traore is incredibly shit when he plays like this. Mings cant do the basics and we look really tentative around their box. Jack being closed down really well and doing all his work miles from their box. For all that, we have looked the better team.

Frustrating that.  Playing well until the last 20 yards.  Soft goal. Mings did well not to get drawn out but then seemed to forget to block the cross?!? Plenty O'Time yet.

Big test for Deano in the second half. Real challenge to get anything out of this game.

He’s a typical wide player. Brilliant one match, shocking the next and you’re never quite sure which will turn up. Unfortunately, we know which it is tonight so far.

How do any of you think Mings is at fault for that? The problem was the amount of space on our left.
Mings should have blocked the cross instead of flailing like a Great British halibut on the deck of a Great British trawler

Absolutely hopeless, stick out a leg and clear it

Our front three have been very poor, Traore in particular. Have loads of possession but no cutting edge

Need to sort Bert out at half time. He's  not contributing enough in either direction.

Our flanks are a bit too open for them

Actually don't think it's as bad as the other night, Man. United are pretty good at the quick one touch combinations between 2-3 players that can open up space quickly.

Decent performance considering we weren't great in the opening 10. Agree with Gary Neville though, for the amount of set pieces we've had it's just been floated nonsense bar the first which De Gea had to fist away.

Have to do better if we get same amount in second half.

Better side on the ball. Lacking that final pass.

McTominey has committed 3 fouls on Jack now, he has to go in the book for the next one. We need a little more belief in the final 3rd, as when you turn their defence, they're so ordinary.

Points in this for us Villa.

Stupidly soft goal to give away.

Doesn’t matter how we play against these feckers, play well, play shit, they always grab a goal out of nowhere. Think we have played well but Traore is a passenger and we lack a bit of cutting edge tonight. Some of our football is beautiful.

I thought we were below par in that first half. Created absolutely nothing from dead ball situations and they just looked the more likely. Grealish and AEG quiet, Watkins outnumbered all the time and Traore showed his inconsistency. Sloppy at times especially the goal which was a poor team goal to concede. Still I. It though, they really ain’t all that.

Annoying to be behind, have been the better team. Need to take advantage of all our set pieces better.
