After Mondays game, where I thought we played really well, but looked tired at the end (understandably), I thought tomorrow's game, could be a game too far over the Xmas period.
I still think if their firing, martial, Rashford, Greenwood and Fernandes are dangerous and it will be interesting how in particular Mings copes with this if he's brought back in, mistakes in him that he has.
However, with 24 hours to go and maybe slightly under the influence, I'm convinced we  can do this. Mcginn and Luiz against mctominay and pogba or who ever, all day long. Grealish, Watkins and (hopefully) Barcklay against Maguire and his mob. I fancy us I really do.
Happy New year all.

I keep voting draw.  It's clearly the least likely result but I feel the chances are even, which is amazingly different from 12 months ago.

After I read this I went and had a look. They were mostly complementary about us to be fair. They're definitely concerned about our midfield/attacking prowess. There seems to be a train of thought amongst there fans, and not just on there, that all it will take for them to sign Grealish is for them put in a bid. Which is pretty arrogant of them. I said in my earlier post that I think we'll win by the odd goal and I'm sticking with that bit as the game draws closer the nerves are creeping in. In Rashford, Greenwood and Fernandez they are extremely dangerous and we will have to be really on top of our game to get something out of it. Really looking forward to this one.

These f**kers are the yardstick to our progress. We played them off the park at Old Trafford last season but only managed a draw. Play our normal game and we'll win this. They're living on reputation now and someone said earlier only 2-3 of their players would make our squad. I agree. Go at them from the off, get an early goal and prove to the doubters Liverpool wasn't a fluke. And then reinforce that shit a few days later.

I know football wasnt invented in 1992 but the stat I have just been reminded of on the BBC is incredibly depressing. We’ve beaten them 3 times in 50 meetings. I actually fancy us to make it four today.

I wonder which half they’ll get their penalty?
