0-1 watkins pen Maguire brings down JG in the box .......
He could pick him up and throw him in the stadium and we wouldn’t get a penalty there tbh. Not happening.

I watched Prime until the end last night. The hype train had well and truly rolled in and level of delusion was off the charts with Phil Neville. It was as if he had not just watched a dire and utterly clueless Man United huff and puff and do the square root of nowt for 92 minutes against Burnley in gold, before a huge stroke of luck.

I hope they're all buying into that hype, as it dramatically increases the likelihood of them coming unstuck.

How come Maguire is allowed to Push pull and climb over players without getting penalised ?
Agree with Ads, I really hope they believe they played well.

Nice to go into this game not already writing it off as a defeat. They always have been and always will be a bunch of twats so a win here would be very welcome.

Currently they are the 2nd best team in the country- how that has has happened is beyond me - but you can guarantee that on Friday they will get a dodgy VAR decision go for them 10 mins into injury time

With the amount of luck they are having I am thinking of contacting OGS and asking him for the 6 numbers for Saturday’s lottery

Having just watched them. Well, well, well, now here is an opportunity...

They may have used up all their luck tonight but that will be compensated for by awarding Bruno Fernandes 2 penalties as they didn't get any tonight.

Would love to do the f*ckers on Friday even more than normal.

If they do get a pen Emi should just stand still until Fernandes has done his stupid hop, skip and a jump action  Key is not to commit himself early. That way Fernandes doesn’t have the power to beat the keeper

To confidently predict us to win this game may be a step too far.  However, looking at the two likely line ups of the teams, I can honestly say that, if given the opportunity, there are only two of their players who I would have lining up for us.

Why do the Villa media team always post small time, fawning articles about the opposition?

https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2020/december/Cash-A-dream-to-play-at-Old-Trafford/

Pure garbage.

Yeah, they've done that kind of shit before. Sure I remember an article that called it "The Theatre of Dreams". FFS.

I honestly don't mind this time around. On top of them hopefully thinking they did a great job last night, anything that makes them think they'll just be facing a coach load of tourists on Friday is fine by me.

In fairness, I’ve had a look at the match thread on Red Cafe and they’re extremely wary and respectful of us, generally saying that it will be a more open game because unlike Wulvz we’ll go at them and that will give them a chance, but we’ve also got an excellent defence.

It helps that they all love Grealish, so they don’t buy into the bitter, twisted shite we see from our nearest and dearest, but it’s genuinely incredible to see us talked about like this.

What a time to be alive.

for the first time in at least 10 years I think we have a team capable of beating them
I actually think we have a better first 11 team than them

but you just can’t legislate for the MU spawnieness you can’t calculate for those decisions that will automatically go their way (see the last game penalty)

they are the luckiest team on the planet
Yeah I know you make your own luck
But their greatest ever night was the biggest smash and grab in Football history

You think they can’t keep getting Jammy at the end of games but they still do (see last night’s deflection)

so yes I think we win all things being equal
But things are never equal when we play them
