Good piece of writing Dave .....like a lot fans of our vintage I am beginning to get more than a little excited about the club's future .....not just on the park but behind the scenes where the owners have serious plans to make us "giants" again
I've always been proud to be a Villa fan irrespective of our standing but I'm starting to feel the inner glow of a growing feeling that our club is now being seen as a sleeping giant, rousing from a decade long (or so) slumber .
Living in a soccer mad region of the UK, it makes me particularly proud when Scousers and Mancs say how good the Villa are right now .......lovin it !!
