We go again. Not surprisingly unchanged. No Barkley yet, but Konsa on the bench.

Shame Barkley isn’t back. Good Konsa is back in the squad.

Win please.

Where the fuck is Barkley?  Why does every two week injury at Villa turn into weeks and bloody weeks?!

Not really though is it. He can’t play against Chelsea so why bring him back for 1 game and upset someone who played well against the baggies.

And why I don’t expect us to sign him.

Barkley might as well rest properly and be ready for the game after Chelsea.  Our home record is nothing to write home about, we need to address that, starting today.

if he was fit he would at least make the Bench.

I wish Dean would be honest in his pressers about injuries - we're not going to see Barkley til 2021, he's parent-tied for the Chelsea game even if his hammys were up to it.
If he's going to miss half our games through injuries just fuck him off back to Chelsea.

Barkley is back in training. I don’t think him not being included is anything more than him getting back to speed. By the end of the festive period of games he will be starting again. As will Konsa. We have played well the last few games and should have 9 points from the last three. Barkley makes us better but we still should have what it takes to beat Palace without risking a key player too quickly.

Barkley can't play at Chelsea anyway so he would be back for this game and then miss the next one so I can see why he has been allowed extra time for recovery.

There's a video of Barkley in his under crackers while McGinn rolls about in his turkey suit, so he must be in full training.
