A good read

I love that we are always on the front foot and attacking but also have the second best defensive record in the league. I think the top 6 is wide open this year and if we can keep our better players fit and add a couple of canny signings in January we might not be far away.

 Feels great to be a Villa fan again

It isn't the oldest rivalry in league football. We played Wolves in our first ever league game, at the same time that Preston were playing Burnley.

I also like reading your post-match summaries Dave.........when we win. You’re very fair and expose our frailties when we lose. But always well written if apparently a tad rushed sometimes. Keep up the good work.

And neither of them are rivalries. Villa and Albion have been at it since way before the league was formed.
