Got to love the bitterness.

The gamesmanship from the Villa team was just plain sad to watch. Kicking balls away, going down under minimal contact, feigning injury - this is not the spot I fell in love with as a child. Which brings me on to Grealish...

...I have never denied that he is a talented lad as he quite clearly is. But my oh my, what an absolute **** this man is. He has cheated against us multiple times in previous meetings and he just couldn't help himself tonight, could he? There he was, galloping in to a dangerous, possibly goal-scoring opportunity when he decides to fling himself to ground under minimal contact. The fact that it wasn't even seen as a contentious decision is beyond my comprehension. Shame on all those who tolerate this state of affairs.

Brilliant, the more he gets under the skin of opposition fans the better.

We all know (and they know we know) that if he played for them they would be spouting the exact opposite.

Good to see the mythical NMB somehow made them even shitter than in their previous game!

And if anybody's at a loose end, there's a rerun on BT at noon.

They did benefit from the NMB. We’d have hit double figures without it. Jammy Baggies.

Absolutely destroyed them. We are in a different league to them now. They will enjoy next season, back in the Championship, bullying the Rotherhams of this world. Livermore will deserve his 3 match ban, shin high, lunging, two footed attempt to take a player out after the whilst had gone. He was out to put a marker down and injure the King. They knew they couldn't compete with a player of his class and he would run the game. Hause's tackle was mistimed, one foot, and caught his boot. If it had been a red card I would have been absolutely livid and it would just have been the ref levelling it up. Fully undeserved.

Anyway, I hope they take the Rags route of excuses about luck and decisions. It's what keeps them in the mire and always will do. The ''it ain't fair'' attitude.

They were shit. Thoroughly outplayed, looked outclassed and will go down. What makes it even better is they're going to do it Fat Sam style, defending, shit housing, time-wasting and keeping it tight. A relegation by a thousand long balls. Brilliant.

Fuck the Albion, week in and week out.

When you've held yourselves up as paragons of virtue throughout your existence, and when you've had a compliant media saying what a lovely club you are, it's no wonder that you see yourselves as beyond reproach and your enemies as beyond the pale.

They should be grateful they were so lucky yesterday. Lucky we didn’t smash them for double figures.

For such a team of white knights haven't they had a man sent off against us three games in a row for abysmal tackles. Scored a goal with their hands and were the only club I can remember in the last couple of years having a player banned for diving?

Spawny bastards are only in the division because Brentford absolutely shit the bed. They won't be here for long.

Just spoke to my Albion supporting mate. Your first paragraph is basically what he thought. The most disappointing thing for him was the realisation that they were way below us now in every position of the pitch. I imagine he’s thinking what a lot of their fans are thinking.

Can we stop with the 'Hause could've seen red' it wasn't a red card and would've been incredibly harsh had he got one. It was slightly late and meant he caught the player on the top of his boot but there was nothing overly aggressive or out of control about it. Read the laws, the description for a straight red could come with a gif of the Livermore tackle it was so clear (and poor from the ref to only give a yellow in real time) the Hause challenge was nowhere near the same severity.

When Villa fans are joining in with this it just fuels the "it ay' fair" bullshit from the baggies fans who are clinging to it rather than facing up to the fact that they were toyed with and brushed aside with ease.

Absolutely right, the Hause challenge was a legitimate and safe attempt to win the ball that was mistimed.  That Bogeye twat's challenge was an out of control attempt to break Grealish's leg - there is absolutely no comparison between the two.

If an Albion player had done the Hause tackle I'd have been irate if it hadn't have been a red card. He could very easily have gone. His studs are on the Baggies player's ankle. Loads of players have been sent off for that.

I think we would still have won, though. And it makes up a bit for Mee not being sent off (or even booked!) in the Burnley game.

it really isn't on his ankle, it's the top of his foot, the precedent is, as a few people have now said, the Robbie Brady one from in the week which was similar in that it started quite high but the contact was on the boot. At the time I thought Brady was a bit lucky but watching it back later I think it was the right call and I'd say the same about Hause. VAR did look at the Hause one and didn't feel there was any need for the ref to review it (in a game where they'd just had him change a decision from yellow to red) which shows a straight red would've been harsh.

He's a genuine master of a footballing basic; keep your body between the ball and opponent. His close control means means he will never be dispossessed by a player behind him, and it gives him the freedom to ignore them and concentrate on what's now in front of him, travelling in whatever direction or at whatever speed takes his fancy. If you are behind him and you impede him, it is a foul.

Sums them up that salty wankers like this would rather love some game dominated by the likes of Livermore than Grealish.

Didn't even gloat to my Baggie supporting neighbour post match. They're not even worthy of the attention.   ;)
