The best thing about that was the little triangles down the right between Traore, Cash and whichever midfielder joined them.  It's mirroring what Jack and Targett +1 have been doing down the left for ages and gives us a whole further dimension we didn't really have with Trez playing wide right.

Traore played really well and his finish was sublime, and AEG has upped his game remarkably.

Main concern is we are still making poor decisions in the penalty area, shooting when we should pass and vice versa.  It's costing us goals.

Most one-sided derby I can remember since the 5-1 game.  Coming away from the Whorethorns with three points and no broken legs is all you can ask for.

Great result, an easy win in the end, but a shame we didn't score 6 or 7.  8)

I’m four pre match threads unbeaten.  You’re welcome.

Keep up the good work.

I thought El Ghazi was done, perhaps a few performances here and there before leaving in the summer. He's now looking like a key player again.

What a massive transformation compared to last season.

Very frustrating. Should have been 5 or 6. Did Albion have any sort of shot on goal?

I am reliably informed that Emi Martinez bought a pie in the 80th minute and sat in the stand to eat it.  That's how dominant it was.

The most one sided game of the weekend... Yes we never scored 7, but from the word go, we were on top.... the Man Ure v Dirty Leeds + the 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' game will be highlighted more than our game on MOTD...
Well played Al Ghazi + Traore but the whole team played well.. (no subs)
Merry Christmas everybody, one game at home before the January window opens, I still think we need a couple of quality players in the window to cover injuries & suspensions... Up the Villa xxx

Livermore is a total tw*t.
McGinn is back!!
Watkins will be a serious scorer in time.
Targett looks relaxed, confident and competent.
Traore's total leftfootedness is very frustrating at times, but he was soooo cool for his goal!
El Ghazi is a clever player; just needs to show it more often.

Villa look like an accomplished Premier League side.

What a massive transformation compared to last season.

Yep we’re pretty dominant against most teams now.

I'm glad he stayed. He seems a player who will play well in a side that's playing well. We're at the right end of things, playing with confidence, so I think he'll have a big part to play. He scores goals. In all honesty we could save us a bit of money if he hits form again and we'll have three decent wingers fighting for places.
