El-Ghazi MOM and a huge boost to his confidence, Traore was brilliant, nonchalant, laid back. Also a shout for Cash, I fucking love him.

Nil flattered Smethwick.

I Can’t believe they were playing that long ball shite all the time under Bilic. The most appalling team we’ve played in a long time. Fat Sam is an absolute dinosaur and truly laughable that their board thought he was the answer.

I was starting to fret a little before the second goal, but that was total and utter domination.

UTFV.

Great result, exhibition football. Villa were brilliant to a man. Bitters were woeful. Traore a class act on that showing. UTV.

I hate playing these bitter urchins. Don't even care about beating them, I just don't want to lose and face months of 'bantz' from the in-laws.

Three points, three goals, clean sheet. Good times!

Excellent all round. Traore and AEG have come in for criticism, but were great today. Traore's best performance for us so far. El Ghazi looks great when he's confident. To be honest, bad finishing aside I didn't think he did a lot wrong in the last game. Glad to see him score a couple today and he was a constant threat.
Thought Watkins played well up top. Should have had the goal. But I like his movement, his hold up play. Very good player, and he's gonna get better. He deserved a goal. SJM superb. Everyone was on it today. We played some great stuff (and perhaps overplayed at times, but a minor criticism).
As for Jack...well, it's just such a pleasure watching that man play football. He's majestic. We still have two games in hand on a lot of sides too, and I think at least one of those will be a victory.

We are really looking quite good aren’t we?
Very impressed with Bert tonight, but then they all played well.
I work in Wednesbury so tomorrow morning will be sweet.

Well, that was beautiful.  I loved Traore's goal, and presumably someone will tell the Albion keeper that it's enough to take the knee before the game, it's not necessary during it.

We'd win the league if we played every remaining match in Sunday 7.15pm slot. No idea what we have for tea in the afternoon but certainly working!

What a truly one sided game.  We toyed with them.  At one point, I am ashamed to say, I was a little bored and thought we had turned into Arsenal.  Then boom!! Traore will a lovely finish to top off what was a great performance.  Clever penalty by El Ghazi.  Terrific performance all round. VAR can fuck off.  How can anyone prove when the ball was actually kicked.  An inch offside ffs.

It’s looking a darn sight better than it did at Christmas 2019.
