No doubt about it Burnley are a very frustrating team to play against but everyone knows this. It's the job of the team who's playing them to break their stubborn resistance with quality football. We were about 90% there. It was all about poor finishing. Jack was fabulous again.

We'd have won that with Barkley playing aswell, need him back. Hopefully if he's actually training again we're saving him for Sunday.

Why don’t many of all these big chances fall to Watkins ? It’s all starting to look a bit hoganesque. We works incredibly hard, put himself about, but the chances just don’t come to him.

We desperately need another quality forward option off the bench in January. Or better still someone to compete with Ollie. Because Davis ain't it and Wesley, as much as it will be good to have him back he's hardly prolific.

Traore is a powder puff player. All fart and nothing else. He will offer a moment of magic here or there but when it comes to the real work...well he just falls over every single fucking time

And did AEG say at the weekend he practices shooting or just penalties. Because on that evidence he doesn't do the former. Ever

Frustrating as we've done more than enough to win that game.  Unfortunately the chances in the box fell to El Ghazi, Traore and then Davis when he came on who all wasted them.  Desperately missed Barkley's extra bit of quality.

I can't believe we haven't scored in that game. Pretty much a shot every 3 minutes, and we've not scored one.  Anwar could have had a hat-trick, SHOULD have had at least one.

Gutted at the result, but pleased with the number of chances we are creating.

Weakened team, opposition parking the bus, we were due a draw, it happens. Clean sheet, no injuries and whilst frustrating, win on Sunday and things will feel fine.

With five of the first team missing it was always going to be tough but in the end we dominated from beginning to end, we just lacked composure to finish it off. If Barkley had been available I reckon we would have scored.

I was screaming for el Ghazi to be removed on 70mins for Ramsay. Push Grealish back out left.... anwar couldn’t finish his dinner tonight. Did nothing apart from the free kick first half.

I've watched Villa too long to complain about a game in which we created 27 chances. There have been seasons where we'd struggle to create that many in half a season.

Still, 'kinell.

Burnley defend very cleverly. Clog up the space between the 6yd line and the edge of the box. Force you out wide so you end up crossing, which they defend really well.

We looked quite comfortable for most of the game. Won most of the 2nd balls and moved the ball around well.

The 4 changes all seemed to work which is a positive, although Burnley aren't the biggest of challenges.

Took the wrong attacking option on ocassions.

Pity we left our shooting boots at Bodymoor Heath.

When was the last time we pulverised a Premier League team without winning? We don't do that from recent history. We dominated this game and were let down by sloppiness in front of the goal. Still work to do but this is a different team from those we have had in the PL in the last 10 years. march on Villa.

Hopefully by the time that the players get back to the dressing room, Watkins will have managed to get out of the centre half’s pocket - he was awful he needs to work on the physical side of his game, he gets dominated to easily - and Traore was even worse, what did someone see in him to pay £17 million?

Someone should also tell El Ghazi it is a team game and he can pass to another Villa player
