How wasn't that dirty ****** Mee booked?

I don't wish injuries on players, but...

I think we have been good. Hause and Elmo good. Also Watkins and Grealish. And Martinez. Nakamba dosent fill me with confidence. Burnley are what they are. Probably much of the same second leg. Stubborn defence from the legs of Mee and the other, woodwork hits from us, briliant saves from Pope, hoping we get a goal or two and then they suddenly have a megachance scoring or not on counter or deadball. Can go either way but we are the better/ a good team tonight also I think and that good to see.

This ref is a prick...he penalised Grealish for a perfect tackle early on & has just done the same to Tarkowski. He needs to go back to ref school & learn what is a clear foul & what is not.

The build up is too slow. It is a bit like last year get the ball to Jack & stand back and watch he do something. Traore is a waste of space. He looks the ultimate Laconic Luxury player.
The scene was set in the tunnel before the game. Jack approached the ref to say hello with a fist pump, ref just ignored him.

We have been very poor IMO - some nice passing but honestly, in 45 mins against a very poor side, we have troubled Pope maybe twice (and thats being generous).

Yet but for a difference of six inches (a couple of inches of the frame of the goal) we could be 3-0 up.

Eight seconds, crunch. Start as you mean to go on, Burnley.

We need to shoot much more quickly. By the time we've worked a 'better' position their box is like Piccadilly Circus.

and we could as easily be 2-0 down. If you don't trouble the goalkeeper, you wont win games

I think this shows we need to get into the transfer market in January.

Jeez, we could / should have scored 3 or 4 in the first half!

I'd say that a keeper tipping a shot onto the cross bar and a defender heading a shot of the line is closer than a couple of easy takes for Martinez, but you do you.
