I wouldn't put Nakamba in, he's incredibly limited and doesn't even shield the defence well. I'd keep Ramsey in. I would someone goes through Mee as well early on, the dirty bastard.

We will fuck these Minecraft badge wearing fuckers 1-0.

Good to see Amazon Prime is now integrated into SkyQ Apps which saves a lot of farting about.

I wonder if the 'route' of the data into Sky Q is different (ie more fucking reliable) than to standard Fire kit, or if it's just a different packaged front end onto the same thing. Loads of complaints about the football coverage this week.

With the suspensions and injuries it is time for some of the squad players to really step up - I actually think having a few of them in for this game is no bad thing, they have got this opportunity to prove they are worth sticking with and if they do that then those not playing today will have to work even harder to get back in.  I would definitely give AEG a start today, and stick with Ramsey in midfield too as he looked fully at home against Wolves.

                      Martinez
Guilbert     Konsa     Mings    Targett
              McGinn     Hourihane
AEG              Ramsey              Jack
                    Watkins

Strange isn't it, the SkyQ App is seamless on my telly box, I despair using the  Firestick which I bought because the smart telly app built into the Android TV OS was flakier than a big bag of flaky things.

Anyone want to buy a Firestick?

I wouldn’t play Nakamba.  Prefer to progress Ramsey.

I tried streaming from a tablet and phone and possibly even used the app on my TV, all were crap. The matches this week via SkyQ have been reliable and pretty good quality too so far.

Plus it's so much easier to use one machine for everything. I may actually start to use my Amazon Prime account for watching stuff now.

We're going into a holiday rental for a few months while we do work on a new house, just been researching the NowTV stick which also has Prime Video available via it as well as iPlayer, Netflix & Disney+, looks like there's some good deals up front on Sport & Movies bundles as well.

The Now TV sticks are pretty good to be honest.  I think we got a few months free subscription to movies when we bought it.

Hoping for the best, obvs but wondering whether these two games will  expose the comparative thinness of our squad. Might bring focus to any January investment.

Roku are best in my opinion. I've found firesticks a bit clunky.

Villa to win 3-0
Half time 0-0
Three penalties in the last five minutes.

I use the Fire TV cube thing.

It's pretty solid. Run Kodi on it too *taps nose*

Runs very smoothly.

I have a slightly unlikely formation in mind for this evening:
Martinez
Elmo Konsa Mings Targett
Ramsey Hourihane McGinn
Guilbert Watkins Grealish

My rationale is that Guilbert and Elmo can both defend and swing in crosses, Guilbert is quick and Burnley's left side is strong, with McNeil and Taylor getting up and down.
Hourihane sits in front of our CB and picks up the second ball from Wood and Rodriguez.
I'd have AEG and Traore come on after 60 minutes, depending on how the game is going.

I have no concerns about Ramsey playing: remember those couple of reducer-tackles he made against Burton? - he's physically up to the game and has a simple and effective use of the ball.

I've got more chance of playing there than Guilbert has!
