I'm in the Villa

Do you remember this term from the 70s and 80s  from Brum. When someone asked you who support they would say "I'm in the villa "

I remember it. The were other similar phrases.  If someone asked you where you work, you reply "I'm in the GEC", or "I'm in the Dana" or mark Spicer as it was then.

Which pub do you use? " I'm in the Stockland/Crossways/The Yew Tree "+

What's your point caller ?

By the way, can we add a poll as to how long the new boy will last before he crosses the line and gets banned ? I'll go for 1.30pm.  ;D
