Antonio is nowhere near match fit, I expect them to sub him off at half time and put Haller on. Amazed they didn't start him given he scored a good goal last week.

We've made an in form team look pretty average. Just need to watch the set pieces as they've got some big old units in their team.

Decent half in the end.
Jack being Jack but for me Dougie has been superb.

Have Antonio's shorts shrunk in the wash?

Just the left leg it seems

I'm sure they were both short when I posted!

Not sure what people expect from Watkins, it's a midfield battle and he's doing a far better job for us than Antonio is for them so far. What he's doing well is watching where Jack goes and moving into the space it creates. We haven't found him well enough but he's playing his part in moving defenders around.

Yes indeed.

In general, it's been a very encouraging response to the early setback. Could easily be 2-1 to the good.

He really does have that slightly desperate look of a man who might have been rushed back.

Thought we looked much the better once we settled. Keep that up and we can win this.

Agreed.. not crazy about Watkins being isolated on the left at times though.

We can pass thru them for sure, and their legs already look to be getting heavy.

Niggly game but we're playing most of the football. Great attitude after going behind. A worry that all the 50-50s going our way and the good play will be for nought if we don't take the lead. As West Ham will have a spell where they put us under pressure in the second half.

Good palying from our team. They are palying with confidence and ... joy? Good to see. Mings with one of his just before halftime. Nice to see Cash having upper hand to an unfit Antonio so far. Keep it up, please.

After a poor first quarter of an hour we could and should be at least two in front.
