When Luiz, McGinn, Barkley, and Grealish click, we look unbeatable. Chuck in a couple of fine performances from Trez (love the guy) and Targett with Watkins holding things up so well and we are going places. Oh, and I forgot to mention Konsa with a couple of great blocks. oh sod it! Mings and Cash as well - have I mentioned everyone. Martinez average - i mean what exactly did he do!

I really fancied us before the game, we do seem to do well against teams like that. Some really good performances tonight but Tres just ran his arse off and at the moment, Jack really is one of the best in Europe at what he does.

We beat Woolwich Arsenal and Ian Darke and Andy Townsend.
They were condescending, dismissive, disrespectful and disparaging towards us, viewing the game from an Arsenal point of view. Until the second goal when they started gushing about us as if the game had suddenly turned and we hadn't been in it.
Piss poor.

Harsh on Townsend who speaks well of us.

'Villa could've scored more'
Arsenal 0-3 Aston Villa

Mark Schwarzer
Former Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Huge result for Aston Villa - totally deserving of the victory. 3-0 it was comfortable, it could've been more I was really impressed with their performance. Ollie Watkins, Jack Grealish, Ross Barkley were all excellent but the whole team were superb.

McManaman and Owen are both saying it could have been 5 or 6-0 and that we battered them. Owen has just said that not only would he be picking Grealish for England but he would be building the team around him.

Philippe Auclair said the same thing about Grealish on Football Weekly a few weeks ago.

Andy Townsend was great on co-commentary on my stream. Commentator kept baiting him on Southgate throughout the game and why wasn't Jack an England regular.... For a finish, Townsend made a mockery of Southgate recent comment about Jack "moving up the list"....must see if I can find it...

Watkins, the ball seems to stick. Yet, he’s not the traditional build of your target man. The lad seems like a right gem, doesn’t seem to have a Billy big bollocks attitude or anything. Great to see

Trump gets battered yesterday, Villa batter Arsenal tonight. I don’t want this weekend to stop it’s just great. We played our best performance in a long long time, every one of them played their part. Jack was immense and the link up with Ross tonight is going to get better.

Just watching the third goal again, brilliant, just brilliant.

Jack’s pace and had the power and skill to still perfectly weight the pass to Ollie despite the attempted shove from Bellerin  He’s a strong boy is our Jack

You obviously didn't have the misfortune of his *ahem* punditry tonight then.
