Not a free kick I know, but we did have a corner routine last week with Traore drifting back for the volley

That's our annual corner routine used up then. Was the one before that Grealish's volley against Derby?

I don’t expect anything from this game - Arsenal look pretty decent. But to stand any chance we need to get some defensive stability back.

We might get hammered today or we might win well. The difference in being a villa supporter at the moment is I don’t 100% expect us to get beat. I know we’ve had one or two decent results down there post O’Neil, but over the last decade I’ve always expected us to lose these games (supposed top six), I don’t think we go into this with an inferiority complex, for the first time in years

The most Villa thing to do after winning 4 in a row would be to go on a huge losing streak, or at least winless run.

I'm still clinging to the hope Villa won't be Villa this season, but to be honest I am not looking forward to this game.

The most Villa thing to do would be win at Arsenal today and then lose at home to Brighton.

Apparently Ozil will be involved today. Hopefully Luiz will be too as he is always good for a booking/sending off/defensive mistake.

Have to go with the majority here I’m afraid. The old Villa is still alive and ‘well’.

Not feeling very hopeful about this one, Arteta has improved them a lot since we last played them, but last week's 2nd half come back does give me some optimism and providing we stop giving away stupid free kicks on the edge of our box, then we have a chance.

Still got the hump with last season's defeat at the Emirates. And I hope the players have too. 3-1 us.

5 hours to go. Plenty of time yet for the spawny vile to have Aubameyang stub his toe and Leno accidentally brutally cut off a finger whilst trimming his nails. If not, still 3-2 us. Watkins, Grealish and Konsa for us, Drake and Hollins for the nomads.

In the build up to the game, Radio 5 just interviewed Ezri Konsa on radio 5. He talked about the guidance from his father and older brother, playing for Senrab and his admiration for John Terry, including the feedback he receives from him. Came across extremely well; articulate, humble and very focused. Hopefully he and Tyrone do the business this evening.

Results have gone against us today so we need something. Arsenal are below us just, so i reckon we'll get a point, maybe even the three.

Need to be solid today, leaking a few goals recently. Be difficult to beat again as we did after the re-start.
