A draw sends us top as well. If we do go top it wil be for the first time since Aug 2011.

What I am particularly happy about this current group is that there seems to no egos. Everyone; the owners, the manager and coaches, the captain and players all seems to great characters, very level headed and humble. It's great to have that especially now as there are many more eyes on the club, for very good reasons more so than ever in the past 10 years.

*McLeish first pump*

That must've been very early on as we only won one game up to October!

I'm very grateful to Derby for beating them in the playoff semi-final. I think they had our number that year.
Old man and I talked about taht today. Was helpful derby came to wembley with 0 plan and belief. If only mason mo....

After spy gate Derby final was v Leeds pretty much, just look at their celebrations at the end, like they'd been promoted at Elland Road. They turned up at Wembley for the derby out really and hoping we'd be below par while for once we turned up expecting to win.

I agree Leeds would've been a very tricky match up for us but worth noting we didn't have Grealish in the 2-3 defeat at VP and think McGinn may have been suspended aswell, also had James Bree playing CB that day.

Leeds could start 5 who played at VP 18 months back.

I have a bad feeling about this.

Not based on anything rational. Just that we've won 4 games in the spin, we have a chance to go top and well, we're Villa aren't we.

If we are going to win this league we have to be beating Leeds at Villa Park. A Villa win by fair means or foul.

Will be a very different test tonight for us - Leeds play a very high tempo game and have given everyone a tough game so far so expect tonight to be the same. Luiz and McGinn in particular need to play well to make sure that Leeds donít hit their stride - the good news is they are definitely susceptible at the back so we can cause damage there.

I expect a tight and tough game - if aforementioned play well then I think we will win.

A close 3-0 to us.

A red for them, hopefully Tory boy Bamford.

I'm certainly enjoying waking up to match days with a feeling of joyous expectation rather than imminent doom. Long may it continue, I must admit I found the doom thing got a bit wearisome after the first six years or so.

As a resident of Leeds I am nervous for this one. We all know the winning run can't go on forever but win this one please lads. Just hope we're not complacent for an easier game on paper. Hopefully Dean's got them on it again.
