As outstanding as McGinn was against Liverpool, is it realistic for him to play 90 mins on Sunday after three games during the week? Especially after his injury problems last season, the last thing he needs is some kind of fatigue related injury. The obvious replacement Hourihane had a similar schedule so it's hard to know what we should do.

I'm not sure what players Leicester have in the same boat, Vardy and Maddison will be back at full fitness you would think.

Should be a good game this one, 2-2.

I had a dream last night that we beat Leicester 1-0 to go top on goal difference  and media were praising Leicester for keeping us quiet ;D

the £15 thing is to much

If you think of it as £3 per Villa goal it seems much cheaper. ;)

Ramsey's chance to play a box-to-box role?
Somewhat also depends on how Luiz's fitness is too.

I think Ramsey has potential but is miles off it physically to be honest

Leicester are walking wounded apparently.

Ndidi and Pereira out long-term, Soyuncu and Amartey definitely out, Maddison, Evans, Vardy and Praet all doubtful.

Their forum is predicting:

Schmeichel

Castagne Fofana Fuchs Justin

Mendy

Choudhury Tielemans

Under Iheanacho Barnes

Doesn't look all that scary.

Vardy's a doubt?  He always seems to be a doubt when against us and always plays.  Even so, which of those 2 or 3 will sit on Jack?  They'll have to watch the pace of Watkins and the marauding runs of Barkley too.  Then there's the Scottish terrier who is back in form.  I can only see a Villa win.

Yes good news on the injury doubts, although as Brend says Vardy always seems to make it against us.

Rob Dorset on Twitter saying same thing:
#lcfc major injury problems to face #avfc. Vardy is a doubt after a scan on calf injury, both CBs Soyuncu (v likely out) and Evans (abdominal) returned from international duty with injuries. Amartey (hamstring), Praet (knee) serious doubts. Maddison (calf) is ok for SOME of game.

I hope Vardy’s missing

I think he’s a great player very dangerous
i still don’t think there’s many better forward players than him in the prem

Its ok. I have Vardy up front in my FPL team. He won't play.

Leicester are the anti-Villa of casualty lists. They always have a wardful of doubts and they're always fit come matchday.

He didn't start the cup semi final and so we could attack them much more without worrying about him on the counter. Huge if he's out.

Liking our chances in this one if these injuries are true (although looking at Brenton's comments he thinks Jonny Evans and possibly Vardy will still start for them). Don't think we'll lose this, will go 2-2.

If Barkley and Watkins shape up and take all there chances this time and we stay tight at the back, why not at least another 7-2 to us? Lets re-write the record books ;D. Its great to have real optimism about Villa at the moment, hopefully it rolls on beyond Sunday.

Because the Aston Villa I know and love will undoubtedly follow up their best result for years with a lacklustre defeat.

Obviously I'm hopeful this is not the case this time.
my thoughts exactly LeeB. Hopefully they prove us wrong
