I mean, I think we'll get killed, but it is exciting to see Barkley in the team.

I still think we are soft in midfield, not physical enough. We have some craft in there with Grealish and Barkley though. Get into them, Fuck them off.

I hoped they watched Monday's Liv - Ars game closely, and learned that there is no way we should be trying to play out from the back. If Arsenal's players couldn't play their way out of the press, there's no way ours can.

Tough on Hourihane but the right decision.

Conor's great when we need to battle hard not against the more fluid footballing sides. We need everybody to be on their game for this one.

Tough on Hourihane but the right decision.

Dropping a player who got a goal and an assist the last day out is hardly justified. Would have thought it was set up to bring Barkley in as a sub for him to earn the shirt on performances not reputation. Very harsh on Hourihane, seems to be Smith's fall guy.

Trez will have the game of his life today.

The game is huge in Egypt - Salway vs Trez. And I’ve always thought that Trez steps up on the big occasions.

Plus he could well be playing for his place come tomorrow if Rashica comes true.

I have a good feeling about this game.
Whenever I have a good feeling we win.

Will Barkley or Watkins be on the pens?

He has been good defensively recently as well, I'm glad he hasn't been dropped.

Trez makes sense today, his running will be useful.

No centre back cover on the bench?

Oh it put one of those there too.

On the plus side, I’ll be watching the game on a trickle whilst in a taxi to the airport here.

I fully expect us to lose this, but would love to give Liverpool a scare.

We're light on striking options off the bench. Not that I'd be disappointed with Keinan coming off the bench to put the winner in. I'll have his full name tattooed across my ample arse if he does though.
