Same team as Bristol I’d say. Can’t see anyone who played yesterday being involved, with Liverpool on Sunday.
Michael O’Neils a decent manager, I think if they play a strong team they’ll give our reserves a game, 2-1 villa.

Be good to see Chezzie.

It will be great to see Chester. I think he's great. Still hope he has a 'mare, though.

I think we'll need a bit more steel than our second string side to get past this lot.

Let's not forget they've already dumped a fairly strong wolves side out. If they decide to mix in the likes of Chester, Fletcher, McClean, Obi Mikel, Ince, Batth and Butland we might have problems - especially if they nick a goal.

The one we really need to watch out for is Kevin Campbell's son Tyrese. I can see him terrorising Hause and Taylor all game.

We might as well just forfeit the game. We've no chance.

I reckon 0-2, I hope it's the same team that started the last cup game.

Penalties. Whoever progresses, eventually wins the competition before embarking on a European Odyssey visiting the more obscure outposts of the empire culminating in finally qualifying for round 1 of the Europa league in 2025.

I hope we can go one better in this competition. It's a long time since we played in Europe and it's very unlikely we can make it via the league or the FA Cup.

We had a favourable draw last year (apart from the semi) and we have had a favourable one thus far this year.

Chester didn't feature in either of their squads for the last 2 rounds, so he may well not play if they save him for league action.

Could be wrong but I'm sure I read on here the other day the League Cup winners won't be given an Euro Cup spot or have to enter through some Mickey Mouse competition?

Why can't we win the FA Cup? It's about time we gave it a go  ???

Doesn't matter as we'll be in the Champions League next season.

Stoke have won three and drawn four of their last seven games at Villa Park. 3-1 Villa tomorrow night though.

2-0 to Villa and hopefully the strong bench isn't utilised unduly.
