As well as obviously wanting us to win I was hoping Watkins would make the most of lower league opposition and get an early Villa goal under his belt.

I've had Watkins 3 shots on target at a boosted 9/1

Whatever the diametric opposite of 'pass and move' is, that's what Lansbury is.

Pass and stand there with your hands on your hips like you've done your bit.

Close-ish by our new number 5

Ah I’ve just realised he’s changed. Late to the party on that one.

Me too. Wish I'd stuck a lot more than a tenner on it.

How did he miss that? At least he was in the right place.

Yep. Leaning back. Should have scored. But he’s getting in great positions

I think nakamba is ok

I agree, he's getting involved, holding his own. Needs to play a more disciplined role and just break up their attacks and release.
Sloppy at times.
Whereas Angela is crap. Gets ball in promising position and just pass it back again.  Ffs

I think there was a bobble just before Watson connected.

We played the entire half in 2nd gear, occasionally moving into 3rd

Far too casual from Watkins. Seemed like he wasn't expecting it.
