2-1 now, Villa and Blose both still nil-nil. Half an hour or so to go.

Blose women losing, we are above them as it stands. No doubt we will concede in injury time, as usual.

Bristol City 3-1 down. Just over ten minutes left in all the games.

All over. Great draw for Villa. Bristol City lost and are relegated. Small Heath lost and finish below us courtesy of their point deduction. They'll love that, I'm sure 😄

Good job. Need to invest though we have very little possession or shots in most games it seems. But massive to stay up as the women’s game is going to be higher profile on tv next season.

Congrats to the women's team - 5 undefeated in a row and finishing above Small Heath. (Just don't look at the number of shots on goal in the past few matches...)

Yeah well done ladies, that's lifted my depression, not a lot, but it has lifted it. As with the men, let's hope for improvement next season.

As I thought Bristol City lost! Again!
Brilliant result for the Villa women themselves to make a draw and can look to progress next season.
The key is recruitment and bringing in a far higher quality player

Brilliant had to stay up for good of the club as relegation would be no ear disastrous and take steps back now can really look to establish

Well done it was hard season however Bristol were the right team to be relegated
So pleased get the results to do the business

I only watched a bit of it but what would concern me is that our formation looked a lot like 8-1-1 for the 25-30 minutes I saw. They need to work on keeping their shape and not having to retreat to defending the edge of the box next year. I understand it this season, we were conceding too many goals and looked too open at the start so they've concentrated on defensive stability but we need to add more of a threat of our own if we want to do anything more than hang on to the place in the league.

On that note I'm not sure why Iwabuchi hasn't been starting, she looks much more dangerous than our other attacking options.
