He'd have to be mental to resign.

Johan or Igor? Tudor's Dad died yesterday. He may resign so that everyone saves face. Paul Lambert can come in and save them.

Would be really inhumane  to sack him on that basis. Thats veey sad news for him

Spurs aren't as big as they pretend to be, and the fans have been hoodwinked into believing the hype.

This

London location and shiny stadium and that is it

1000%.

I said the other day they sit with us, Newcastle and Everton. Always have. It's why they need to go down. End this Big Six shit once and for all.

And just call it a Big Five if you must call it anything. I don't want a part of it. We're outsiders and that's how I like it.

I suspect he will get the sack but it might be couched in an agreed resignation due to family issues. You suspect he would definitely be gone if that news hadn't have come through. BTW, Tactics Tim knew about the death in the family when he did this interview.

Quote
Ex-Spurs boss Tim Sherwood disclosed on Sky Sports News on Monday morning that he would accept the role if offered.

He said: "I don't think it's too late, I would keep them in the Premier League. I believe that someone with common sense keeps them in the Premier League, they have the quality to be able to do it.

"You have to get them feeling good again, you have to get the confidence in the group, and you don't get confidence by playing (Cristian) Romero, if you're Xavi Simons and you're playing Romero as a right winger and Xavi Simons just had his best game in a Tottenham shirt against Atletico Madrid.

"Xavi must be saying, 'What have I done? You're playing someone out of position in my position where I've just played very well.'"

They don't actually have a bad squad if everyone was fit, lots of good young players. Riddled with injuries to Kulusevski, Maddison & Solanke and likes of Muani, Simons, Kuddus have made no impact instead of them. I'd hate to be reliant on Richarlison too.

Their keeper is struggling and we know from Olsen what that triggers. Everyone gets nervous - coach, supporters, defenders. Kelleher was available last summer and Frank should have gone for him. Romero talented but a lunatic as captain.

Any ability Romero or Van der Ven have is offset by their horrendous positional sense. Stands out every time I watch them. Can't run a backline like that.

Was Lange at Villa when we appointed Sherwood or was it still Paul Faulkner in post?

The American guy wasn't? Brad Rockefeller or Todd Magnum or whatever his name was.

Romero was in a World Cup winning defence! He's a nutter though. Van der Ven might have lost his way but wouldn't be against Emery getting him in this summer as a replacement for Mings. Only 24 and when Spurs were going well with Angie's ultra high line he was very impressive.

Porro, Udogie, Bergvall, Gray, Kulusevski, Maddison, Solanke, Kudus- lack of talent isn't a problem there. We even wanted Gallagher a couple of months ago!

West Ham in comparison, Bowen, Fernandes, Diouf and Summerville aside, that a championship squad. If they go down they will be a while coming back up, only thing blowing through their athletics track will be tumble weed.
