Last season I felt deep down that given our momentum at the time we were destined to beat Derby. This year there are too many other factors to consider which is why I am currently more nervous now than I was last year (apart from after Derby scored). I said I was not going to let it get to me and I was done with it all a couple of months ago. How wrong was I!?

It really is impossible to predict how it’s all going to pan out. It’s in the lap of the Gods.

I’m trying to put on a calm front but inside I feel sick.

I'm trying to exude a calm demeanour akin to the swan-like one I managed while watching the away leg of the semi last year. Trying, but failing. A sleepless night awaits, I think. I hope the players are coping better!

It doesn't help that I cannot go. It adds a powerless factor into the mix. Every time I think about the game, my stomach drops.

I’m in Devon full of food and half cut, this helps, with sleep anyway. Drive back in the morning, don’t even want to think about tomorrow, but staying calm, we’re gonna do this.

Aston-Lee's Villa kit and Little Villain vest is all ready and waiting to be put on him tomorrow. Port awaits...

I can't wait, maybe a VAR decision 7 minutes into added time is what keeps us up.

I've a feeling we may be reliant on the Arse and Everton turning up - I'm going...Arsenal win, Bournemouth draw and Villa draw

I’m an absolute wreck already. A sleepless night awaits I fear. When Watford beat Newcastle and made it 7 clear, I’d accepted our fate. Even when we beat Palace I thought too little too late. All of a sudden, there’s one game left and there’s light at the end of the tunnel. This club is no good for your health folks.

Shorting bricks

Well as long as you’re not shitting bricks that’s ok.

Bournemouth win 3-0
Our game lasts minute longer, West Ham score, but VAR chalks it off, as the FT whistle goes news involving Watford who are 0-0.
Deeney scores, it's all over, but wait, VAR. Deeney is possibly a goofy tooth offside, it's hard to tell. After 3 mins VAR says offside.
FT

And it was all jolly good fun.

Was - er - a comment on the prospects for the commercial property sector post Covid.
