I really hope Arsenal and Everton take early leads so that we can relax.
Tongue in cheek humour....I love it....relax ??  Hahahahaha

We're going to have to watch Antonio very carefully.  At the age of 30 and a career that has mostly amounted to the square root of fuck all, he's now decided this is the time to turn into Ronaldo and has got 8 goals in his last 6 games.

Lets not forget that half this total came in one game against the worst side in the league

True, but even allowing for that, he's scored in 5 of his last 6 games, including goals against Chelsea and Man U.

Antonio had scored twice before lockdown. He's in good form but it will end soon enough, hopefully Sunday, if he plays.

With the short off season it will be interesting if clubs that have nothing to play for rest any players Sunday, basically giving them an extra week's break.

I am seriously considering going for a long walk, starting at 4pm on Sunday with no phone.
I can record the match, get back at 5:45 and check in on here before either watching the game, relaxed or deleting it without watching.

I really don’t know if my heart can go through the turmoil of watching live with the other scores filtering in.

My Mrs reckons there is no way I won’t watch it, but I am giving it serious consideration.

I completely know where you’re coming from, but I think the euphoria we will (repeat - will) feel at FT will be worth all the gut wrenching from the day.

I think if we get very physical - whilst keeping things tight - during the first 15-20 mins the flip-flop wearing Spammers may not fancy the fight and hopefully go back to their deck chairs on the beach.

0-2...because we have to.

Soucek needs to be watched from set pieces and corners.Antonio is ok form but 4 goals against a god awful Norwich has bumped his stats up somewhat.

Motivation for them is zero ,unlike Arsenal they can't move up in the league ( extra League place for Arsenal is worth 5.4mil) and they have done what was needed.Worh any luck we are good enough on the day anyway but if they could perform how we did under Sherwood when we were safe ..utterly hopeless that would be nice .

I feel sick thinking about it now.

After what happened to Forest in midweek, I’m not taking a 1-0 win as being sufficient either.

I just want to be 2-0 up in ten minutes and coast. No thrills and spills, just a boring Villa staying up easily kind of afternoon.

Going to the Cotswolds on holiday on Sunday. Planned the holiday ages ago. Probably get threat about 4pm.

At least driving will take my mind off it a bit.

This is where I'm at too. It's the "theres been a goal at Goodison/Emirates" type moments which remind me of that bloody horn on WM in the 70s and 80s before the internet and mobile phones!
