I have a sinking feeling that one of our players has another seismic ricket left in him that they’ve saved for the last five minutes of the season....ie. an Engels, an El Ghazi even an Enckleman moment (shudders)
Don't

My pal who lives dahn sarf went to meet villa supporting mates at a pub in london where they watch villa games. Pub was packed and doors locked at around 1pm!! So he's decided to drive to brum and watch it here. So c'mon villa do it for fans like him who dedicate so much to supporting our club.

Reckon we'll lose, Watford will lose and Bournemouth will draw.

I think we will draw, Watford will get hammered (heard comments made by Ben Foster and their team morale is in the pits) and Bournemouth will also draw.We are fortunate West Ham have nothing to play for so they will be much less focused than in recent weeks. But they are still a confident team with lots of talent and won't want to lose so I can see a draw.

Became very panicky before, I've slept through most of the restart games as I often have work commitments and can't stay up and tbh it just didn't seem worth it. Girlfriend actually gave me a val before going to bed, she saw the state of me pacing the room, doing stretches. The tablet feels like cheating really, I've put it aside.

Been drunk three nights out of the previous four, want to give it a break. Watched those three youtube links and it occurred to me, stay up or down Villa will still be here, kinda rationalised it all for me really. No interest in anything football, fuck the potential outcomes, what anyone else is doing or West Ham, just the 90 minutes. This may well be the last time we see someone like the great Jack in a Villa shirt, savour that.

Three Fall records on the trot, some Mark E.Smith snark. Fuck em, I'm ready.

No- we’ll narrowly beat them and stay up.

So there's 6 scenarios where we stay up and 6 where we go down. That's done nothing to settle my nerves.

Just seen we're pretty much the same apart from Freddy starting.

West Ham pretty much put their strongest 11 out.

The scenarios Watford need though are far more unlikely than ours.  If we win, they have to beat Arsenal 3-0  If they lose 1-0, we have to lose 3-0.  Win and we're there, almost certainly.  If they lose, we have to get battered.

Arsenal put a very strong line up out, Pepe, Lacazette and Aubameyang all start.

Hopefully they'll get a few shots on target today!

Watford lose
Villa draw
Bournemouth win.

That's my bet (tenner at 23/1).
