If he'd let Bootle in would we have had the Everton/Liverpool split over Anfield in 1892 and the founding of the Red Scouse? Football history could have been very different indeed.
Excuse the intrusion folks but I, like many Evertonians, believe that the EPL needs Aston Villa in it. A proper club with proper supporters. A heartfelt ‘best of wishes and good luck’ to you folks for Sunday’s game...go and slap Moyes and his chirpy,cockney eel-chewers...
