They won't fire him until it is mathematically impossible to stay up, if at all.

If Vinnie our in the know is to be believed and he knows he’s going then he’s basically sticking two fingers up with that selection.

So much for being a fan.

Aston Villa, 4-3-3 : Reina; Konsa, Hause, Mings, Taylor; McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Hourihane; Trezeguet, Samatta, Grealish.

Subs : Nyland, Elmohamady, Targett, Guilbert, Lansbury, Vassilev, Davis, Jota, Nakamba.

Sky have got El Ghazi on the bench instead of Vassilev

I guess we thought it would be a great idea to extend his obscene contract with us, and then not put him in the squads.

I think that's about a strong a team as we can sensibly expect to field. The fact that we've got two points from the last 30 and now need to win at least three from four is a ridiculous position to be in.

Does anyone genuinely think we can pull this off?

Shambles.

Trez instead of El Gharzi.

So people would have nakamba and Drinkwater in??? Really any better??

The only change to that I would of made with the players available is give Vassilev a go instead of trezequet

I don't.

Things are just too bad to come back from with four games left, I'm afraid.

Jotta should be nowhere near this squad what a waste of money.

Let’s all pay a moment’s respect for the suffering poor Dougie Luiz is undoubtedly going to be subjected to over the next 90 minutes.
Playing an out of form (and shape) John McGinn, alongside Conor as 2 of a midfield 3 against their pit bull of a midfield is asking for trouble. 🙄

I think i'd have left McGinn on the bench, started Nakamba and pushed Luiz further forward.
