I told my cousin in St Kitts to read it. Had this back yesterday “ 46% in, haven’t laughed so much in the whole of 2020,tears running down my face, brilliant.”. I think he’s enjoying it.
Thoroughly enjoyed the book, Percy, and your interview. Brought back lots of memories about following our club in my youth (albeit a much more respectable one than that described in your novel). (Out of interest have you read "Mayflies" by Andrew O'Hagan? The bond there is music and football is only flettingly mentioned... I thoroughly recommend it).Congratulations on such positive reviews.

I’m listening to the show now, he’s played some brilliant records so far. 2 Clash, 2 Elvis Costello. And he’ll be playing two extra brilliant records while I’m on😉Search for ‘Brum Radio listen live’ if you fancy it.
Text from my dad: 'Got book... a laugh every page, brilliant! The old geezer.'
Woo-hoo, think I’ve got a publishing deal. More news to follow. Just wanna say thanks to everyone who supported me from here.
